HILLSBOROUGH STREET ANNOUNCES LIVE AND LOCAL BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL

Darin and Brooke Aldridge will headline a family-friendly day of bluegrass and gospel on Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the Hillsborough Street district. Live and Local: Bluegrass on Hillsborough Street is a free event featuring four stages nestled among the oak trees of the community.

LL_Bluegrass_EmailAttach_JPG-300x157The event will kick off at 2:00 p.m. at the three day stages with a wrap up at 10:00 p.m. at the Louise Stephenson Amphitheater at Raleigh Little Theater. The Logan Court Beer Garden will feature craft beers from North Carolina, including a special Bluegrass Pale Ale from event sponsor Raleigh Brewing Company. Meanwhile, the Kids Zone will feature bouncy houses and crafts for children of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring an instrument to join a picking circle or simply a camping chair to sit and enjoy the joyful sights and sounds.
