For the third year, Dean’s Seafood Grill & Bar, located at 1080 Darrington Drive in Cary, will host Dean’s Oystoberfest, a popular event featuring hard-to-find oysters and beer specials. Every day from Sept. 18-27, the restaurant will feature 50-cent house oysters, five to eight featured oysters, and 14 draft beers, plus a free Oystoberfest t-shirt for anyone purchasing a dozen specialty oysters and two featured beers.
For 2015, Dean’s Oystoberfest will also feature two beer and oyster socials, live music on the patio on Saturdays, $3 draft beers on Sundays, and special collaborations with Double Barley and Bombshell breweries to serve one-of-a-kind beers just for this event.
The Oystoberfest calendar includes the following events and specials:
• Sept. 18 – Unveiling of 14 draft beers
• Sept. 19 – Live music on the patio from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
• Sept. 20 – All-you-can-eat oysters on the lunch buffet, all-you-can-eat crab legs for dinner, $3 draft beers
• Sept. 21 – Tapping of Foothills Sexual Chocolate
• Sept. 22 – Double Barley Beer Social (ticket purchase required)
• Sept. 23 – Tapping of Southern Tier’s Warlock and Pumpking beers, half-price appetizers
• Sept. 24 – Bombshell Beer Social (ticket purchase required), half-price oysters in the bar
• Sept. 25 – Pint Night (keep the glass)
• Sept. 26 – Live music on the patio from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
• Sept. 27 – All-you-can-eat oysters on the lunch buffet, all-you-can-eat crab legs for dinner, $3 draft beers
