Join us for Bluegrass Means Business!

Each year during World of Bluegrass week, travelers and many area residents come to downtown Raleigh to enjoy the world’s best in bluegrass… and prepare to spend extra on entertainment, food/beverages and activities during the early-week business conference and weekend festival (Sept. 26-30, 2017).
Make plans now for your own business to benefit from the attendees’ buying power, with as many as 200,000 people in attendance and as much as $10 million being spent just on trips by 2017 World of Bluegrass visitors.

Join us on Fri., June 16, from 10am-noon in room 304 of the Raleigh Convention Center for an informational seminar hosted by members of International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA’s) World of Bluegrass Local Organizing Committee. We will discuss:

  • How to submit bluegrass-themed deals/products to appear on the IBMA app and website.
  • What types of deals have been successful in the past.
  • How to hire a bluegrass band to perform at your business, and considerations when planning live music at your space.
  • Opportunities during PNC presents Wide Open Bluegrass (weekend festival portion).

If you have a bluegrass-themed deal prepared, we will have computers available to submit your deal at the end of the meeting. There is no charge to attend. For more information on IBMA, visit ibma.org.
