Horizon Labor Law Specialists, Inc. is owned and operated by Randolph (Randy) Bazemore, a retired employee of the U. S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (USDOL/WHD) with 40 years of service. Horizon is a federal labor law consulting firm which gives advice on compliance with the minimum wage, overtime, recordkeeping and child labor requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act as well as compliance with the requirements of the Family and Medical Leave Act and other federal labor laws. Its services are helpful to employers who have questions such as which of its employees qualify for exemptions, how to compute overtime on bonuses and the difference between an independent contractor and an employee.
Horizon’s services also include visits to the employer’s establishment to review pay and other employment practices, telephone consultations, seminars, workshops, speeches and assistance during investigations by the USDOL/WHD. |
