Mo's Diner: simple foods prepared with care.

For a little over ten years, my husband Hamid and I have welcomed our guests to our restaurant across from Moore Square in a restored 1886 home. We offer full service for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, amid the decor of white tablecloth and toile curtains with candlelight, fresh flowers and a fireplace in every room - perfect for that romantic date or special occasion. Each room consists of three to five tables for an intimate dinner or private party groups up to thirty guests, as well as outside dining on a front porch draped in jasmine lit with sparkly white lights.

We offer primarily American fare- mashed potatoes, fresh corn, green beans and squash with Pan Fried Catfish, Chicken Livers, Fresh Fish and our house specialty Rack of Lamb. Our Market Salad is just that... Fresh local ingredients available at the Moore Square Farmers Market each week. Homemade desserts are a favorite among our "regulars", so it is always a good idea to save a little room for Banana Napoleon, Coconut Cake, Blueberry Crisp or Bread Pudding.
