    The Wandering Moose is an idea that has been years in the making but newly rediscovered for us.

    The Wandering Moose

    We are friends that have known each other for over 10 years, worked together, shared laughs together, had beers together, and dreamed together about starting something we could call our own.  After spending a combined 39 years in the restaurant industry at every position and every level, we realized one simple thing; life is too short to not be going after your dreams.  If we wanted something to call our own, we would have to take the risk and go after it.  And so the Wandering Moose was born.  We are not chefs; we are not world renowned cooks; we are just two great friends with a passion for food that we want to share with whomever we can.

    SANDWICHES‎

    Black Angus Brisket Sandwich: Slow-cooked brisket topped with melted bleu cheese, caramelized onions, and home-made horsey sauce.
    The Moose Cubano: Slow roasted pork, homemade bacon, melted Swiss/American cheese, Gulden’s mustard, and pickles served between pressed Ciabatta bread.
    Brined Jerk Chicken: Brined and slow roasted chicken, sliced, and tossed in our house-made jerk sauce, with a  slice of caramelized pineapple, and our unique cilantro-jalapeno coleslaw.
    Southwest Veggie Burger: Our scratch made bean burger, served on warmed Naan bread, with crisp lettuce, red pepper cream sauce, and our herb aioli.   Also available Gluten Free!
    The Moose Club: Slow cooked brined chicken, sliced and piled on crisp Romaine lettuce and thick tomato, with melted provolone, our home-made bacon, and herb aioli.
    Grilled Cheese: Melted‎ American and Swiss/American cheese on pressed Ciabatta

    MOOSE SALADS

    Order any of our sandwiches as a Salad, served on fresh Romaine.  All are Gluten Free and prepared to eat with a fork.

    Smokey Bacon Mac N Cheese: Creamy mac n cheese with home-made bacon chunks
    Cilantro Jalapeno Coleslaw: Creamy coleslaw, with a twist
    Brisket Hash: Smoked brisket, potato, onions, and peppers served with a side of red pepper cream sauce

    SPECIALS – AVAILABLE ON A LIMITED TIME BASIS‎

    “Montreal Style” Smoked Meat: Our Montreal Style Meat is brined, smoked to perfection and piled high on toasted Rye bread with a spiced mustard.  A Canadian cousin to the classic Pastrami!!
    The BLT: A fresh take on the classic.  Thick cut tomatoes, crispy Romaine lettuce, our “house cured” bacon, and home-made herb aioli.
    Sweet Potato Salad: Sweet potatoes and home-made bacon tossed in a light fresh made dressing
    5 Meat Chili: Hearty 5 Meat Chili with bacon, pork tenderloin, ground beef, and two types of sausage, cooked full of flavor and served topped with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese
    Beef on Weck: Home-made Roast beef sliced thin and piled high on our Kimmelweck roll with horseradish.  A New York Signature!
