Pour your own craft beer or mead scented soy candle with friends, win prizes, enjoy complementary snacks from Brandy! Mead available for purchase also. For this event, when emailing, please let Brandy know if you would like to pour 2-Four ounce jar candles OR 1 Honeygirl Meadery logo’d glass candle. Also, please let us know if you will be doing their tasting during the class, which is an additional $5 per person. There is no additional cost to pour into their logo’d glass, and the glass can be washed and used after the candle has burned!!
Receive two 4 ounce jar candles that you make, or choose to pour into a logo’d Honeygirl Meadery glass instead! Class includes everything you need-scents are chosen by Brandy. Bring comfy clothes or feel free to bring an apron. Wax tends to be a little messy, but it’s soy so it washes easily. Hand pour (or receive assistance) into your jar.
Class runs about 90 minutes. Brandy will introduce herself, how she got started and what you are using to make your candle. You will learn about soy wax, essential oils, and the benefits to burning soy over paraffin. Snacks will be provided by Brandy. At the end of the class, you will have an opportunity to hang out, and ask questions! There will be trivia to test your knowledge and win a FREE CANDLE! It will be an fun evening of laughs and a chance to get together and relax.
Pricing: The price of the class is $30 and includes two 4 ounce candles (retail value of $20) OR a Honeygirl Meadery glass! All supplies and snacks are included in the price. If you would like to do a tasting of their meads, please indicate when booking. The cost for the tasting is and additional $5 and must be paid at the time of booking.
What you get: Dedicated Instructor. Brandy has been making candles for 15 years and has extensive knowledge on how to do so. PLUS, lots of fun with your friends!
