Waldo Returns!
Where’s Waldo? In Raleigh, of course! The beloved and elusive red-and-white striped storybook character is back and hoping you will find him hiding around Wake County. Sponsored by Quail Ridge Books and Shop Local Raleigh, in partnership with Candlewick Press, the fifth summer of Where’s Waldo starts July 1.
How does it work? Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Wake County!” passport at each participating business or they can download a copy at ShopLocalRaleigh.org or QuailRidgeBooks.com. Participants get their passport stamped or signed for each Waldo spot they visit through the month of July. Collect 10 or more store stamps/signatures and gain entry into a grand-prize drawing, with the top prize being a six-volume deluxe set of Waldo books.
The Grande Finale Party will be at Quail Ridge Books at 2 p.m. on July 29, with games and prizes from all of the participating businesses.
