North Carolina FC (NCFC) is a professional soccer club based in Cary, North Carolina, competing in the USL Championship—the second tier of American professional soccer. Founded in 2006 as the Carolina RailHawks, the club rebranded in 2016 to reflect its ambition to bring top-tier soccer to the Triangle region.
NCFC plays its home matches locally at WakeMed Soccer Park. The club’s colors, Atlantic blue, cardinal red, and Southern gold, symbolize North Carolina’s rich heritage and the Research Triangle’s innovative spirit.
Beyond the professional team, NCFC is deeply committed to community engagement and player development through its extensive youth programs. As the largest youth soccer organization in the state, NCFC Youth offers a range of programs from recreational to elite levels, fostering growth and passion for the game across all ages.
