Ella & Bella Pet Company Launches in the Triangle!

Ella & Bella Pet Company Launches in Raleigh, Bringing Purpose, Inclusion, and
High Quality Dog Treats to the Triangle

A new kind of pet treat company has officially launched in the Triangle. Ella & Bella Pet Company, a Raleigh based nonprofit, is redefining what it means to “do good” through business by creating handcrafted dog treats while providing meaningful, supported employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

With only 19% of adults with disabilities currently employed, Ella & Bella was created to help change that statistic, one purposeful job at a time. After launching in mid-July, the company already has 18 team members with disabilities learning job skills in its program as of mid-August, a testament to the community’s need for training and jobs.

Founded by local mother/son duo Kristine Flora & Will Flora, Ella & Bella Pet Company blends community impact with canine joy. The company’s mission is simple: Happy Dogs. Empowered People. Stronger Community.

Ella & Bella’s treats are made in small batches using simple, dog-approved ingredients. But the heart of the company is its people. Each treat bag represents hands-on skill building, teamwork, and the pride that comes from creating something with purpose.

“We wanted to build a place where people of all abilities can contribute, feel valued, and be part of something bigger,” said co-founder Kristine. “Every bag of treats tells a story — not just of great ingredients, but of empowerment.”

Ella & Bella Pet Company is currently producing and packaging treats at its Raleigh kitchen and will appear at local farmers markets, community events, and dog friendly pop-ups throughout the year. The organization is also developing partnerships with Triangle businesses, disability organizations, and pet-focused community groups.
