Gabi’s PALS – Packaging, Assembling, Labeling, Shipping
Gabi’s: Powered by Special Abilities, a Raleigh-based non-profit, empowers a marginalized community with job opportunities that highlight their
special abilities. In Wake County, 68,000 people are living with a disability, and only 18% of such adults have jobs.
To change this, Gabi’s employs over 40 individuals with Special Abilities who provide fulfillment services to more than 25 companies – including Good Dirt, Peter Millar, Murphy’s Naturals, Totally Rad and Brand Fuel– as part of Gabi’s PALS (packaging, assembling, labeling and shipping).
The other side of the organization is the nonprofit Gabi’s Grounds, which sells locally-sourced coffee and merchandise throughout the Triangle and online.
