Adams | Howell – The Back Story
Adams | Howell began in 1998 as Adams Law Office, with Todd Adams opening a solo practice in Angier, North Carolina focusing on the needs of the local community. As real estate and development prospered in the Triangle Area, Todd’s practice migrated toward focusing on representation of developers, builders, lenders, investors and home-buyers. The growth of the Adams Law Office led to the hiring of attorney Currie Howell in 2002 and the opening of a second office in Cary, NC in 2003. Currie’s legal skills and personal connection with the firm’s clients helped fuel further growth and in 2004 the firm became Adams & Howell, P.A. With the addition of attorney Jonathan Sizemore in 2005, adding depth to the residential real estate department, Adams | Howell began to really take shape.
In 2007 Todd shifted his focus to exclusively commercial real estate and nationwide companies quickly began seeking his services, impelling the commercial real estate branch of Adams | Howell to grow exponentially. This led to the opening of a third office in Raleigh, NC in 2012.
After Ryan J. Adams and his nearly 15 years of experience in civil litigation joined the firm as a partner in 2016, the firm created a litigation practice encompassing business litigation, personal injury, real estate litigation, collections and various other areas involving civil disputes. This led the firm to become Adams, Howell, Sizemore and Adams, P.A. in 2019.
Adams | Howell continues to grow. And as we do, we strengthen our areas of expertise, our commitment to our clients, and our unwavering determination to be more than simply legal counsel.
