Small Business owners– the 2016 Independent Business Survey is here! Please take a few moments to participate in a brief, but very important, national survey of locally owned, independent businesses. The survey generally takes fewer than 10 minutes to finish and is completely confidential.

The survey aims to find out how independent businesses are faring, whether people are more aware of and supportive of independent businesses and what key challenges and issues are impacting independent businesses. The survey is being conducted by the Institute for Local Self-Reliance and the Advocates for Independent Business (AIB) coalition, together with local business organizations like ours across North America.
In previous years, this survey has provided unique and important data about the viability of independent businesses and the impact of the localism movement. Last year, more than 3,000 local businesses completed the survey, and its findings were featured in dozens of national and local news stories across the country.
