The 2021 Shop Local Raleigh and Greater Raleigh Merchants Association Annual Meeting was certainly different this year and although we couldn’t gather in person, together virtually we were able to reflect back on the last year. We are happy to report that our focus remained the same, our community. Supporting local businesses and finding ways to make events happen and keeping you connected.

- Sourcing PPE and passing the bulk rate savings on to small businesses
- Active member of the City of Raleigh’s Economic Committee of Small Business Alliances
- Produced multiple #DriveThroughBrewgaloo events to generate much-needed income for the NC craft beer industry
- Cleaning and boarding up Downtown Raleigh
- Opening the new Shop Local Raleigh headquarters
- Created a small business survey and shared the results with local leaders
- Organizing the first-ever virtual Raleigh Christmas Parade
- Through it all, we never stopped advocating for small business support from the City and County
