SLR Member Heart Stone Films and Portico Pictures Video Giveaway!
Heart Stone Films and Portico Pictures are doing a video giveaway! That’s right, a free video for a business, brand, artist, non profit, etc. Their goal is to provide their interns with a start to finish production experience by allowing them to take the lead on a real film for a real company, brand, or artist. So if you are a one of the above then here is how to apply for the Heart Stone Films and Portico Pictures Video Giveaway:
1) Submit your “story” to studio@filmsforlife.com with the subject line: Heart Stone Films and Portico Pictures Video Giveaway
2) In your email tell your story. They want to hear what your brand/company/art/non profit/etc. is and does. Most importantly they want to know WHY you do what you do, how it makes a difference in the world, and why the world needs to know your story!
3) Lastly do one of the following to complete your entry:
- Follow @heartstonefilms and @porticopictures on instagram. Post a photo of you or your company/brand/etc. in action on the job with the hashtag #HeartStonePorticoVideoGiveaway and tag @heartstonefilms and @porticopictures
- Like Heart Stone Films and Portico Pictures on Facebook and “share” the contest entry post from each page.

- *The winner will be chosen at random and announced on June 1st 2016 @ 10:00am EST
- *The video is completely FREE unless you are over 50 miles outside of the Raleigh/Durham NC area
- *Production will start during the month of June 2016
- *All participants MUST complete their entry by following step 3!

Raleigh Food and Wine Festival
The Raleigh Food and Wine Festival is a four-day event highlighting some of the most unique offerings in food and beverage in Raleigh, NC.
The 2016 Festival is planned for Thursday, May 19, 2016 through Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Thursday through Saturday, participating businesses host unique events around town – including wine dinners and cooking classes. Tickets are not required, but RSVP requirements and other details are provided on each event listing.
On Sunday, all of the festival participants gather at the historic Melrose Knitting Mill and Babylon restaurant in downtown Raleigh to host a half-day “tasting celebration”, where ticket holders sample food and beverages from local restaurants, brands, breweries, and more. Tickets are required for this event.
