“Big Weather” Don Schwenneker Named Official Beerologist for 15th Anniversary Brewgaloo
Raleigh, NC – Brewgaloo, North Carolina’s largest craft beer festival, is proud to announce that Don Schwenneker, affectionately known across the Triangle as “Big Weather”, will serve as the Official Beerologist for the festival’s 15th Anniversary celebration.
A beloved meteorologist at ABC11 WTVD, Don Schwenneker has become a household name not only for his trusted forecasts, but for his infectious enthusiasm, authenticity, and deep commitment to the community he serves. At Brewgaloo, he will bring that same energy and passion to a new role, blending weather, beer, and community connection into one unforgettable experience.
As the Official Beerologist, Don will:
- Serve as Brewgaloo’s official on-site meteorologist, helping attendees stay informed and festival-ready
- Host Friday night’s Stein Hoisting Competition, bringing his signature humor and excitement to the main stage
