Book Party with Author Cat Warren – Nov. 11, 2013
Author and NC State Professor Cat Warren will talk about and sign her book “What the Dog Knows: The Science and Wonder of Working Dogs” at a special book 
party to benefit the Raleigh Public Record.
The event takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at Cimos, 111 E. Hargett St. Raleigh. RSVP
Warren’s German Shepherd, Solo, is a cadaver dog, who helps track down missing people in North Carolina. In her book, Warren talks about her odyssey with Solo and enters the broader world of scent-detection dogs, revealing the remarkable capabilities of working dogs, their handlers, and their trainers.
Event includes light refreshments, a cash bar and the opportunity to purchase an autographed copy. Book copies are limited, but you can pre-order yours on the RSVP page.
