You came for the beer… and stayed for the bands. Brewgaloo isn’t just North Carolina’s largest craft beer festival, it’s a full-on soundtrack to your weekend. From high-energy sets that’ll have City Plaza buzzing to laid-back grooves perfect for sipping something local, this year’s lineup brings serious talent to every stage. Duck

Duck is a North Carolina-based modern funk band dedicated to delivering a high-energy, soulful experience rooted in community and radical freedom of expression. Their new project, Funk Prayer, combines a powerful funk groove with a dynamic range of sounds inspired by the late 80’s early 70’s funk and disco movement. Their music is a potent, genre-bridging blend of hard-hitting funk, rock and soul that feels both classic and urgent. Every track is crafted as a pick-me-up, built on deep pocket grooves, electrifying solos, and the authentic, relatable storytelling of vocalist Donnie Deneil. Anchored by Sam Thompson (guitar), Chuck Rhew (keys), Chris Holloway (bass), and Anthony Ward (drums), the band’s collective approach ensures an intimate, authentic connection. Formed in 2020, Whoop evolved organically from Friday night jams in Bigas’ barn studio in Raleigh. Consisting of musical moments captured, distilled, and tastefully shaped into songs, the band’s celebratory yet introspective eponymous debut emerged to rave reviews just a year later. Formed in 2014, 2Digh4 has played at multiple big events, including the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach, SC, the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the N.C. State Fair, and the infamous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
