Brewgaloo Named Best Local Event or Festival in Wake Living’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards!

Shop Local Raleigh is thrilled to announce that Brewgaloo, North Carolina’s largest craft beer festival, has been honored as the Best Local Event – Festival in Wake Living magazine’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. 

“This award goes to all the breweries, vendors, sponsors, attendees, volunteers and everyone that’s a part of making Brewgaloo what it is today,” said Jennifer Martin, Executive Director of Shop Local Raleigh. 

Brewgaloo showcases over 100 craft breweries from across North Carolina, alongside local food trucks, vendors, and musicians. The festival is scheduled for April 25-26, 2025, in downtown Raleigh, offering attendees a vibrant celebration of the state’s craft beer scene. 

The event spans 12 hours, over two days, during which over 10,850 gallons—or 86,600 pints—of beer are poured. Despite perceptions that craft beer may be losing its appeal, Brewgaloo continues to grow, defying industry trends. 

In addition to craft beer, Brewgaloo features 50 food trucks, 45 local vendors, 8 bands, a DJ, and more. The event is free and open to the public, offering nonalcoholic beer, kombucha, hard seltzer, and cider.
