Carolina Hurricanes Are Working to Fight Hunger: Bring Canned Food to Saturday’s Food Truck Rodeo!

Give back while enjoying a great day of food, fun and community! Shop Local Raleigh is encouraging Food Truck Rodeo attendees to bring canned goods and nonperishable food items to support the Carolina Hurricanes’ 2026 Food Drive, presented by Harris Teeter.

Shop Local Raleigh is proud to support the Carolina Hurricanes and their commitment to giving back to our community! This Saturday, as you join us for the Food Truck Rodeo, we invite you to bring along a few canned food items or other nonperishable goods to help make a difference for local families facing food insecurity.

We’ll collect your donations at the Food Truck Rodeo and personally deliver them to the Carolina Hurricanes to support their 2026 Food Drive.

It’s a simple way to make your Saturday even more meaningful. Whether you bring one can or a bag full of groceries, every donation helps provide food and essential resources to families throughout the Triangle.

Let’s show what happens when our local community comes together to support one another!
