Ashley La Rue Band

A fine blend of acoustic, reggae, alt rock, and what can only be described as “her sound”, Ashley LaRue and her band reach out to the world with messages of positivity, hope, and good vibes as a bonded tribe of musical virtuosos. This seasoned group has performed alongside acts such as: Nantucket, E.N. Young, Little Stranger, Kyle Smith, Howi Spangler (of Ballyhoo!), Of Good Nature, Mishka, and more.

Jason Adamo

Jason Adamo is a singer/songwriter and host of “Homegrown Carolina Country”. Currently residing in Raleigh, Adamo has lived in New York City and Nashville immersing himself in each city’s music and songwriting scene. Jason has received Gold and Platinum plaques for his songwriting work on country artist Brett Young’s debut album.

Mega Colossus

This five-piece hails from Raleigh. Though customarily referred to as a traditional metal band, the band’s broad appreciation for various forms of music find confluence in a style that may not be as easily defined. Live shows balance proficiency with energy, abandon, and interaction with the audience.

Kooley High

Hailing from North Carolina’s rich tradition of Boom Bap Hip Hop, Kooley High embodies the sound of fans that enjoy Little Brother, 9th Wonder, and Rapsody.

Rosali

Through songwriting and performances, Rosali shares resonant emotions and the authenticity of being, unveiling herself to connect with broad audiences. Rosali’s songwriting realizes life as rich and alluring melodies within the framework of traditional popular songwriting.

Superchunk

Superchunk is an American indie rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, consisting of singer-guitarist Mac McCaughan, guitarist Jim Wilbur, bassist Laura Ballance, and drummer Jon Wurster. Formed in 1989, they were one of the bands that helped define the Chapel Hill music scene of the 1990s.

DJ Mister Illz, Official DJ of the Carolina Hurricanes

Originally from Raleigh, Marcus “DJ Mista Illz” Ward honed his performance skills at an early age by watching his dad; also a professional DJ. While DJing any type of event, Marcus aims to amaze the audience. With over 20 years experience, Marcus has done hundreds of weddings, held multiple residences at major night clubs, been on tour playing to sold out arenas with a UFC fight promotions company and most recently named the official in-arena DJ for the Carolina Hurricanes!

Adam Lee Decker Band

Adam began touring as the lead singer for The Fault Line. Adam and The Fault Line entered “America’s Got Talent” sailing through to the top of the show. He set his sights even higher and took on the challenge of American Idol. Adam met up with the established group “Spaceship Days” and his first project with them would earn the band a Grammy nod. Adam is still fronting Spaceship Days, sings with the acapella group “Transit,” and has a passion for performing acoustic shows throughout the Triangle.

Into the Fog

Winners of the 2021 MerleFest Band Competition, Into The Fog is a genre-jumping string band based out of Raleigh. With its members having various backgrounds ranging from bluegrass, country, rock, to funk, Into The Fog creates a musical melting pot of sounds in an acoustic/newgrass setting.

Paige King Johnson

The Angier native traded in horse pastures and back roads for the bright lights of Music City in 2015. A three-time Carolina Country Music Awards Winner for Female Vocalist of the Year, Country Emerging New Artist, and Tour of the Year, Johnson’s devoted homegrown fan base continues to expand farther than just her backyard.

Mellow Swells

Mellow Swells is a band from the Triangle area that soar blasts funk, rock, and intense improvisation to its listeners. Their influences range from traditional music all the way to modern funk/pop. Expect to get beef blasted by some low end bass, sweaty by some deep grooves, and slapped by soulful vocals and soaring riffs.

James Dunn

North Carolinian James Dunn’s catalog of songs is marked by powerful lyrics about the road of life, not only from his perspective, but also through the eyes of others. His ability to weave story and personal experience into song and make a connection with fans has been at the heart of Dunn’s songwriting and performing career. His music has been featured on ESPN, TNT, A&E, FOX and used by the NCAA and the NHL.

Toubab Krewe

Toubab Krewe has honed their craft through relentless touring. They actively draw inspiration from whatever source floats into their purview, something they’ve exhibited in their decade and a half of heavy gigging, including regular appearances at major U.S. festivals like Bonnaroo, High Sierra, Rothbury and Wakarusa, and abroad at the Festival In The Desert in Essakane, Mali. Toubab Krewe carves out a new trail honoring the African originators they admire by making something alive and contemporary.
