Where’s Waldo in Raleigh  Where’s Waldo? In Raleigh, of course! The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty-two local businesses throughout our community. To find a full list of participating businesses, click here. Print out your passport before you head out and play along! Collecting store stamps or signatures at 10 or more businesses will entitle participants to a grand prize drawing on August 6, with the top prize being a 6-volume deluxe set of Waldo books. Other prizes include gift certificates to local businesses, a Yeti tumbler, bowling for a party of 10, gourmet popcorn and more! The Where’s Waldo Party and drawing for prizes will be held at Quail Ridge Books (in their new location at North Hills!) on Augut 6th at 1pm. Activate Good works as a “force multiplier” for local causes with volunteer needs. Through our outreach efforts and online volunteer community, they help recruit and connect individuals, groups, and companies to fulfill volunteer needs with partnering nonprofits in Raleigh and the Greater Triangle.The Raleigh Typhoon scavenger hunt and urban adventure returns July 30! Grab friends and form a team to tackle hilarious games and solve puzzles while visiting a variety of Downtown Raleigh hotspots. Teams who successfully solve puzzles by the deadline are eligible for prizes. Teams must contain between 2 and 8 participants; all participants must be 21 or over. Raleigh Typhoon kicks off at 1:00 PM at b.good on Fayetteville St. on Saturday, July 30, rain or shine. Proceeds from the Raleigh Typhoon benefit Activate Good. Limited space available.
