Changes to the Lifestyle Health Plan
All Shop Local Raleigh members are eligible for benefits through the Lifestyle Health Plan. This comprehensive health plan offers reduced rates and full coverage in the Wake County area for all members. We want to ensure all our members are getting the most for their money and saving where possible. See below for a sample plan with sample rates. **This just in! Super news for Shop Local Raleigh members. Medova, which offers the Shop Local Raleigh health plan, has dropped two underwriting requirements making it even easier to get coverage for your small business!!
THE SHOP LOCAL RALEIGH HEALTH PLAN HAS DROPPED THEÂ INCOPORATION REQUIREMENT.
Going forward you can be a sole proprietorship and still qualify for the plans so long as you have
- at least two full time employees
- the proprietorship files under only one tax-ID number
THE SHOP LOCAL RALEIGH GROUP HEALTH PLAN HAS DROPPED THE “SAME LAST NAME” PROVISION. Â
Previously you could not apply as a group of two even if both spouses were active employees. Now husband and wife teams are eligible for coverage under the Shop Local Raleigh association plans.
