🩰 Carolina Ballet Presents: Carmen Suite 2/5-22
In this bold world premiere, Resident Choreographer Amy Hall Garner reimagines Carmen Suite with powerful theatricality and a fresh choreographic voice, set to Bizet’s iconic score. Presented alongside Zalman Raffael’s Book of Esther, a collaboration with the North Carolina Museum of Art, inspired by the Museum’s exhibition. 🎭 Red Pitch at Burning Coal Theatre 2/5-22
The southeast premiere of a red-hot play about futbol, friendship, and coming of age in a constantly shifting world. This critically acclaimed play originated at London’s Bush Theatre before transferring to the West End in April 2024. More info.

🎭 Moonlight and Magnolias at Raleigh Little Theatre 2/6-22
1939 Hollywood is abuzz. Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down production of his new epic, Gone with the Wind, because something’s not right with the script. Summoning both famed screenwriter Ben Hecht and formidable director Victor Fleming, he locks the doors, closes the shades, and on a diet of bananas and peanuts, the three men labor over five frenzied days to fashion a screenplay that will become the blueprint for one of the most successful and beloved films of all time.
