🎭 Shadows In Red Light at Burning Coal Theatre 6/26-28
A concert version of a new musical set during the AIDS epidemic in New York City. A single mother thinks she is placing her baby in foster care. Years later, as Angeline faces adversity, she longs to find her mother she believes abandoned her. Themes of hope, sacrifice, and belonging shape this story about love in its many forms. Based on the hit movie, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock – The Musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?
