Head to the Lenovo Center for Battle of the Badges, where the Raleigh Police Department and Raleigh Fire Department hit the ice for a high-energy hockey showdown. It’s all about friendly rivalry, big hits, and bragging rights. It’s also for a great cause, with proceeds benefiting Hurricanes Sled Hockey and The Reason Outdoors. It’s the summer of 1776, and the nation is ready to declare independence… if only our founding fathers can agree to do it! 1776 follows John Adams of Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson of Virginia as they attempt to convince the members of the Second Continental Congress to vote for independence from the shackles of the British monarchy by signing the Declaration of Independence. The seminal event in American history blazes to vivid life in this most unconventional of Broadway hits. ♦️ Teen Game Night at Downtown Cary Park 3/27
Downtown Cary Park is hosting an epic night of games, creativity, and fun—just for teens! This free event is the perfect place to hang out, compete, and create with friends. Apex Racing Lab’s mobile gaming trailer will be on-site with high-speed Racing Simulators. Bracket-style tournaments for Cornhole and Spikeball will take place, with prizes awarded to the top three teams in each competition. For teens who prefer something more creative, air-dry clay magnet and keychain making will offer an artsy activity option. A teen DJ will keep the energy high, and free snacks, including cotton candy and popcorn from Spunderful, will be available while supplies last. Downtown Cary Park. 5pm-9pm. More info.

LAST chance to see this can’t-miss performance from Carolina Ballet! Snow White returns to the stage March 12-29, choreographed by Artistic Director/CEO Zalman Raffael with an original score by Shinji Eshima. While preserving the enchantment of the classic fairytale, this production thoughtfully explores its timeless lessons—kindness, self-worth, and inner strength. Through the Queen’s magic mirror, the story offers a gentle reflection on comparison and the importance of seeing ourselves with compassion.

🎻 NC Symphony Presents: Star Wars and More! 3/28
Travel to galaxies far, far away as the Symphony performs your favorite music from across the Star Wars universe. Get there early for pre-concert activities, including crafts, and their popular Instrument Zoo! Free, kid-friendly activities will begin in the lobby one hour before each performance! Bring your favorite stuffed animal and come early. A special team from WakeMed Children’s invites you to visit their Teddy Bear Clinic before the concert. From band-aids and splints to X-rays and hugs, they have just the right treatment to get your cuddly friends on the road to recovery. 🥳 Sir Walter Coffee Circle the Block Party 3/28
Sir Walter Coffee will host its 9th Anniversary “Circle the Block Party,” an all-day, simultaneous block party event across both of its downtown Raleigh locations. Hop between both locations to experience double the music, double the food and drink specials, and double the fun! The 555 Fayetteville Street location will be bumping with DJ sets all day. Meanwhile, the 145 E Davie Street location will feature live music performances. Both locations will offer exclusive anniversary food and drink specials. Patio games and activities will be set up for a full festival feel, while specialty anniversary menus will be available throughout the day. Let your dog or cat find their inner artist at Unleashed’s monthly Pet Paint & Sip Sunday! Their staff will help you create your pet’s very own masterpiece. They’ll add paint to a canvas, cover it with a plastic bag, and let your dog or cat lick peanut butter or wet food off the top to reveal their one-of-a-kind work of art! This month, they’ll feature a Spring/Easter theme and drink. Suggested donation: $10.00 (no sign-up necessary). All donations support local rescues!
