From a Boutique on Wheels to a New Home in Downtown Franklinton
For five years, Baily’s Boutique has been bringing affordable, curated women’s fashion directly to customers through a one-of-a-kind boutique on wheels. Now, owner and founder Baily Rich is beginning an exciting new chapter with the opening of Baily’s first permanent storefront in the heart of Downtown Franklinton.
After years of growing her business from a 1987 Chevy Stepvan affectionately known as “Pinkie,” Baily knew it was time to take the next step.
“It was a hard decision to move out of the truck after five years,” Baily shared. “But I felt like I had built up a client base that wanted to see me on a more regular basis. I was really excited to find a space where people could come shop multiple days a week and have one spot for everybody to come and shop.”
That vision has now become a reality at 100 East Mason Street in Downtown Franklinton.
Meet Baily
Baily Rich is the founder, owner, and buyer behind Baily’s. A single mom to an awesome little boy and their pitbull, Baily has spent years working in retail and developing an eye for finding unique, wearable pieces that women will love.
After 2020, she set out to create a boutique experience that would make shopping for women’s clothing more convenient, personal, and fun. Baily’s was born with a focus on curated, affordable, and unique pieces that fit into real life.
As an experienced buyer, Baily is passionate about bringing in brands and styles that feel fresh and unique to the area while helping women find pieces that fit their individual lifestyles and style goals.
Whether you’re looking for something for the weekend, a weekday outfit, a night out, or an easy daytime look, Baily’s collection is designed to make getting dressed a little easier.
A Boutique Designed for Everyday Style
Baily’s Boutique offers an affordable, curated collection of women’s clothing and accessories, with new pieces arriving every single week.
“If you’re a regular in the store, you’re always going to see something new,” Baily said.
The goal is to help customers style themselves for any occasion, with versatile pieces that can transition from season to season. The boutique is filled with racks of stylish finds, including transitional pieces that can take your wardrobe from summer into fall.
And the shopping experience is just as inviting as the clothing.
The new storefront features pink velvet chairs, pink curtains, and a bright, clean space that immediately makes customers feel welcome. It’s a cozy and colorful home for Baily’s carefully curated collection.
Beyond the storefront, Baily’s also makes shopping easy through social media ordering, Instagram Lives, online drops, DMs, local pickup and delivery, and shipping options.
Finding a Home in Downtown Franklinton
When Baily began searching for the perfect place to open her first storefront, Downtown Franklinton quickly stood out.
“I decided to bring my business to Downtown Franklinton because it’s such a supportive community of other small businesses, which I loved,” Baily said. “I also like that it’s super walkable, so you can walk, eat, and shop. It’s a very supportive downtown community, which I’m really excited to be a part of.”
After years of meeting and connecting with other small business owners while operating her mobile boutique, Baily is excited to now have a storefront where she can bring some of those connections together.
From “Pinkie” to a Permanent Home
Before Baily’s had a storefront, it had four wheels.
The boutique began in a 1987 Chevy Stepvan, which was completely renovated in 2021 into a modern and chic mobile shopping experience. The truck, affectionately named Pinkie, became a memorable part of Baily’s story and allowed her to bring the boutique directly to customers throughout the area.
Five years after launching Baily’s, the dream of having a small brick-and-mortar shop finally felt within reach.
Saying goodbye to Pinkie was bittersweet, but the truck helped create something even more valuable: a community.
“The truck remains a meaningful part of our journey,” Baily shared. “I’m so grateful for everything she made possible: the memories, connections, and incredible community built along the way.”
Now, that community has a new place to gather.
Grand Opening Month at Baily’s
Baily’s is celebrating its new Downtown Franklinton storefront all month long with Grand Opening Month events every Saturday from 2–6 p.m.
Each weekend will feature a different local business, giving customers a chance to shop Baily’s while enjoying fun, interactive experiences from other small businesses Baily has connected with throughout her journey.
Saturday, August 8: Honey & Oliver Custom Jewelry Bar
The celebration kicks off Saturday, August 8, with Honey & Oliver’s custom jewelry bar.
Guests can create their own unique piece of jewelry while shopping Baily’s newest arrivals. It’s the perfect opportunity to grab your girls and spend an afternoon shopping, creating, and celebrating.
Saturday, August 15: Leartistry Ink
On August 15, Leartistry Ink will be at Baily’s offering flash tattoos.

Saturday, August 22: The Vintage Bee
The fun continues August 22 with The Vintage Bee, featuring a trucker hat bar complete with patches and engraving.

Saturday, August 29: Nova’s Permanent Jewelry
Grand Opening Month wraps up August 29 with Nova’s Permanent Jewelry, who will be at the boutique from 2–6 p.m.

“I met so many amazing other small businesses when I had the truck, and I’m really excited to be able to bring them in store to Baily’s now.”
