Shop Local Raleigh Seeks Vendors for Destination Dix Festival

Raleigh, NC— The City of Raleigh announced Destination Dix, a free, family-friendly event at Dix Park. On July 23. The event marks the one-year anniversary of the City of Raleigh purchasing the Dorothea Dix campus from the State of North Carolina.

Destination Dix activities and features include: a Ferris wheel, tethered hot air balloon rides, kids crafts and inflatables, a vision wall, lawn games and a Touch-a-Truck area. There will also be shade areas to escape the summer sun, a picnic area, a beer garden, vendors and food trucks. Event attendees will have the opportunity to share their vision for the 308-acre property located south of downtown by doing various activities throughout the day.

Shop Local Raleigh is seeking food and merchandise vendors that are interested in participating in the event. We are currently seeking applications from locally owned and independent businesses looking to set up a booth to sell merchandise, food trucks and restaurants wanting to sell their cuisine.
