New Hire for Local Payroll Company Brings Talent in Marketing, Public Relations and Development
RALEIGH, N. C., June 1, 2015 — The Paystub People, a Raleigh firm that provides payroll services, has announced the hiring of Katie Hammond as payroll solutions manager. For The Paystub People, Katie will be responsible for managing and developing accounts in Raleigh and the surrounding area. She will implement creative strategies for marketing initiatives, coordinate between internal operations and clients and build positive relationships in the community.
Prior to The Paystub People, Katie brings over five years of experience in marketing, public relations and communications. Her recent background includes handling marketing and event coordination for a local Fortune 100 IT company, and serving as the public relations director for a fashion production company. Her entrepreneurial and creative energy motivated her to launch a resume service company and most recently a fashion blog.
Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in communications, public relations, from North Carolina State University, as well as a double minor in nonprofits and vocal performance.
In her spare time, Katie works as a director assistant with Sisters Voices, a nonprofit choral community for girls in grades 2-8, and volunteers with Reedy Creek Middle School’s musical theatre program. She lives in Raleigh and enjoys supporting music and the arts, creating fashion looks, attempting yoga, and spending time at the beach and New York City.
