Triangle Town Center Welcomes Santa with S’mores, Sledding and Snow!

Raleigh, N.C. (November 1, 2016) – Triangle Town Center and Commons, the largest shopping destination in the Triangle, is welcoming Old Saint Nick and kicking off the holiday season with “Santa’s Magical Arrival” on Saturday, November 12 from 5 – 8 p.m.

 During the free event, Triangle Town Center’s Creekside Cafe will transform into the North Pole, with family-friendly activities including sledding, a s’mores station, a recital of the 12 Nights of Christmas, a magician and holiday performances from local choral and dance groups. Attendees will also enjoy a performance from Sydney McCoy – Young Miss NC Spotfish Queen 2015/2016; Miss Apex 2014 – all under a blanket of snow! Kris Kringle will be available to take photos with families from across the Triangle.

 “It’s never too early to start spreading holiday cheer,” said Jennifer Jones, marketing director, Triangle Town Center. “We can’t wait to help Triangle families make some of their first memories of the holiday season – whether they’re enjoying the snow, taking a photo with Santa or putting the finishing touches on their wish-lists.”

 Santa’s Magical Arrival kicks off a season of holiday fun at Triangle Town Center, including opportunities to take photos with Santa from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from Noon – 6 p.m. on Sundays. There’s a Santa “Fast Pass” for those who want to skip the long line. Also, stop by on special photo nights for one-of-a-kind family portraits:

  • Pet Photo Nights: On December 1 and 13 from 6 – 8 p.m., bring your furry friend to the mall for Pet Photo Night with Santa! The SPCA of Wake County will join the festivities with information on how you can help animals in need during the holiday season.
  • College Mascot Photo Nights: From 6 – 8 p.m. on special college nights, take a holiday photo with your favorite mascot!
    • December 5: The Duke Blue Devil from Duke University
    • December 6: Rameses from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
    • December 7: Mr. and Mrs. Wuf from North Carolina State University
