We created JPP Pottery in August 2023, after I had been slowly phasing out of the social work world, and moving into the world of throwing mud.  We like to provide unique, fun, functional and decorative gifts for people to give to others or to themselves.  I mostly use the wheel to create ceramic pieces using stoneware clay.  I also form pieces with slab and hand-pinch some.  We offer a variety of mugs that are hand carved and earth-toned, and also some  of a more whimsical and colorful nature.  The carved mugs are themed with animal paws, sea turtles, viney flowers and mountain scenes.  I love making PRIDE mugs and those are year round, with more appearing  in the months of June, Sept / October.  We also offer spoon rests, sponge holders, and popular ring/vitamin bowls.   Priced at $10, we have RESIST magnets, for those who are pro-democracy and human rights.
