Accessories and Gifts from different countries of the world showing their culture.

World Accessories makes unique treasures using the Tagua nut which is the seed of a tree similar to a palm that grows all year-round in the tropical rain forests of some South American countries. It takes approximately 15Â years to produce its first harvest and will not stop bearing fruit for all of the years and even a century to come. Tagua can be harvested without detriment to the rain forest and is also known as vegetable ivory nut.
The native people of South America used Tagua seeds to characterize the feminine because of its great magnet-like romantic energy. Each component of the tribe was given a Tagua accessory to wear around his or her neck. The community believed that people wearing Tagua would live in harmony and always be loved by their friends and family.
World Accessories uses the Tagua to craft beautiful jewelry. Due to the nature of the Tagua nut, sizes and shapes are very different and some have more stains from their own shell making each piece unique and different from each other.
Additionally, World Accessories works with an assortment of other artisans to bring you unique items from all over the world!
