Tropical Delights, LLC, the Original Pineapple Guys, is a family-owned mobile frozen fruit smoothie concession business that has worked throughout North Carolina and the East coast.
Established by brothers Charles and Reggie Burnette in 1995, our vision, as a God-centered business, has been to create the best smoothie experience through excellent customer service, superior quality of product, teamwork, and integrity. We were one of the first to conceptualize serving smoothies inside of a pineapple as a concession business. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to perfecting our vision.
In 2019, we expanded our products to serve the popular Disney™ frozen dessert, Pineapple Dole™ Whip. Dole™ Whip is a dairy and gluten-free, vegan soft serve that has reached a cult following. We won the 2019 Media’s Choice for Best New Food at the NC State Fair. In 2022, we also won the Delaware State Fair Manager’s Award for Best Overall Outfit and made the 2022 NY State Fair’s “#topnine” for the most “likes” on their Instagram page!!!!
In response to the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting shutdown, we expanded our business by offering all-beef hotdog served with all your favorite toppings. The hotdogs have been voted “Best in the Triangle” because of our homemade chili and Cole slaw.
You can find us locally, at festivals and fairs, but we are also available for corporate events, birthday parties, reunions or any special occasion. Contact us for a one of kind experience!
