Oak City Amaretto is a local Italian American, Navy Veteran Owned, liqueur company that handcrafts a family (Granmother’s) Sicilian amaretto recipe in North Carolina.

Our recipe is a twist on my Grandma Scalabrino’s original Sicilian amaretto recipe. As a daughter of Sicilian immigrants, Grandma learned to adapt to and quickly adopt American culture. The recipe was a part of the Sicilian traditions that her family maintained. Her children and grandchildren learned from her hard work as​ she was a loving mother and grandmother who took care of her three children by day and worked the second shift at the Keebler factory as a line supervisor to ensure her children had a bright future. Although she worked tirelessly, she never ceased to give back to her family and community. We hope you enjoy our family’s handcrafted, authentic, Italian American liqueur. We know that this unique family treat will put a smile on your face just as it has many of the privileged guests who joined Grandma in conversation and libation.
