My name is Rebecca, and I come from a long history of crafty ladies. My great grandmother tatted and crocheted. My grandmother sewed, and my mom… well, she can tat, knit, crochet and paint. They have all inspired me in their own ways to stay focused and learn a craft of my own. That is where Afternoon Owl Designs was born.

I surround myself and my workspace with lovely things they have made or used in the past. From this inspiration, I began to create my own ideas. I taught myself how to crochet, left-handed. I fell in love. From there I began developing my own patterns and started selling on Etsy and at juried craft shows.

In addition to being a part of the Etsy universe, I am also an IT Specialist, a wife and a mommy. This all makes me a very busy, but very happy little bee.
