About the Owner
Kathleen Makena became a Licensed Esthetician in 2005. A true passion for skin care is what led her to leave Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts after 14 years. After receiving her license at Design’s School of Cosmetology in Paso Robles, CA, she has continued her education by taking classes in Los Angeles, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Hickory, NC.
While Kathleen has worked professionally with several different skin care lines, she now chooses to work exclusively with Epicuren Discovery because of the dramatic difference it makes in the health of the skin.  Since Epicuren professional products provide treatment versatility that benefits all ages, skin types, and skin conditions, Kathleen can customize each facial for the individual needs of the client.
