The Raleigh Racquet Club offers excellence in facilities, programs, instruction, play,  and social events for tennis players of all ages and skill levels. As a family-oriented racquet and swim club, we offer multiple social and athletic activities. The facility includes 20 acres of land, 29 tennis courts (21 Har-Tru), a 25 yard swimming pool with pool house, two indoor tennis facilities (10 indoor courts), a clubhouse with a fitness room, a tennis pro shop and full service café with adjacent patios.
Raleigh Racquet Club was established with the goal of becoming the finest tennis and swim club in NC. Before incorporation the tennis center was located at the backyard court of Dr. Hubert Royster “Royster Stadium.” From 1968 through 1972, membership increased well beyond any expectations. In the fall of 1968 we opened our first six courts and pro shop. In 1971, just days after our 2000-seat stadium court was completed we hosted the NC State Championships. Since that time, our centre court has welcomed  tennis legends, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Pete Sampras, Monica Seles, and Lindsay Davenport.  RRC has also hosted numerous professional, amateur and junior tournaments, making it one of the top tennis facilities in the Southeast. Today, RRC is not just a facility, but a way of life.  Members enjoy the numerous indoor and outdoor courts, pool, fitness center, and clubhouse, but also family activities, social events and tournaments.
