The Raleigh Wine Shop was created out of a shared vision among three friends and wine industry veterans – Seth Hoffman, Jeff Bramwell, and Ryan Fulkerson – to bring a new kind of wine store to Raleigh. The shop, located on Glenwood South, welcomes wine novices and connoisseurs alike with a bright, inviting atmosphere and varied price points on quality wines created with the purity of the fruit in mind. During our initial selection process we tasted literally thousands of wines over the course of three months (in addition to our combined 27 years of previous experience in the wine business) to find those that fit our strict criteria of quality and value. We focus on selecting ‘honest’ wines that use grapes farmed with a genuine care for the land and that are crafted with a sense of place of origin. All of the traditional wine sources from around the world are well represented; from France, Italy and the United States to Chile and Portugal, every selection offers the aromas, flavors and overall balance that we feel are true to character and convey a sense of where those grapes were grown. As a customer at the Raleigh Wine Shop, we’re eager to help you discover the wines you’ll love.
