Italy’s treasure–the Barolo and Barbaresco!
Often considered the Burgundy of Italy, the Piedmont is known for its elegant and beautifully perfumed red wines of the Nebbiolo grape. Nebbiolo is the king of this northwestern Italian region, responsible for some of the world’s most sought after wines, such as Barolo and Barbaresco. But Italy’s known for other gems–incredible reds and whites created from a variety of indigenous grapes.
