Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Help to set up, merchandise, and dismantle our booth, setup, or displays in an organized and visually appealing manner.
• Assist customers in selecting products and provide product knowledge, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
• Handle sales transactions accurately and process payments through various methods, such as credit cards, digital payments, or mobile payment platforms. We operate as a cashless business using digital POS systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and restocked as needed.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and stay up to date with current trends in the industry.
• Actively engage with customers, answer their inquiries, and provide information about our products, promotions, and upcoming events.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of each event, market, or festival.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the sales area.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and fellow team members.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, on weekends, and adapt to varying schedules based on pop-up market or festival requirements. Final scheduling is often released 1 week prior to events by organizers.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with the local Raleigh market and festival scene is a plus.
