  • Carolina Brewing has again brewed a special beer to celebrate NC Beer Month: the West Coast Style IPA! This is a big, flavorful beer that is heavily hopped, slightly higher in alcohol and downright delicious! It has a big grapefruit hop wallop in the front followed by mellower tropical fruit notes (hops used include Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo & Citra) and weighs in at 7.2% abv.  It’s a single batch… for now.  There’s potential for a more permanent place for it in their line-up.
  • All permits for their new Taproom have been received and they expect construction to start before the end of the month!  It is going where their current tasting room and office are located and should be open by mid-summer.
  • CBC has expanded their sales territory into the Triad!  They’ve teamed up with Caffey Distributing and have begun selling all their beers in Greensboro, Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas. If you’re in the area be sure to be on the lookout for their beers!
  • Beer Month beer dinner at 42nd St Oyster Bar on Sunday, April 26th at 6pm!  Six courses paired with six beers, including their West Coast Style IPA and their Groundhog Imperial Stout.  Complete menu is listed below.
