The Last Food Truck Rodeo With a PAW-some Twist! Pawpalooza Brings Food Trucks, Local Vendors and Four-Legged Friends to Downtown Raleigh
RALEIGH, N.C. – Raleigh, grab your leash and round up your crew! Shop Local Raleigh is putting a four-legged twist on one of the city’s favorite community traditions with Pawpalooza Food Truck Rodeo, presented by Atlantic Union Bank, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from noon to 6 p.m. along Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh.
The first-ever Pawpalooza edition of the Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo is bringing a new kind of excitement to the streets of downtown, combining everything people love about the traditional Food Truck Rodeo with a pet-friendly experience celebrating Raleigh’s local businesses, furry friends and community spirit.
One last rodeo. A whole lot of food. Local shopping. Cold drinks. And plenty of wagging tails.
As the final Food Truck Rodeo of 2026, Pawpalooza is the perfect opportunity to gather friends, bring the family and leash up your pups for one more afternoon of food, fun and supporting local businesses before the year comes to a close.
“Shop Local Raleigh’s Food Truck Rodeos have always been about bringing people together and giving our local businesses an opportunity to connect with the community,” said Jennifer Martin, Executive Director of Shop Local Raleigh. “We’re excited to put a fun, pet-friendly spin on our final rodeo of the year. Pawpalooza is a chance for people to enjoy a great afternoon downtown, discover local businesses and, of course, bring their four-legged family members along for the fun.”
Guests can stroll around Fayetteville Street while enjoying a variety of local food trucks, shopping with small businesses and makers, grabbing a drink and spending the afternoon with fellow Raleigh residents and their pets.
The afternoon will feature:
- A lineup of local food trucks serving a variety of food and sweet treats
- Local makers, artisans and small businesses
- Pet-friendly vendors, products and goodies for four-legged friends
- Food and drinks throughout the event
- Opportunities to shop local and discover Raleigh-area businesses
- A community food drive by the Carolina Hurricanes
And speaking of giving back, Pawpalooza is about more than just good food and happy pups. Shop Local Raleigh is partnering with the Carolina Hurricanes to support their fight against hunger. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food and nonperishable items to help support the Hurricanes’ community food drive and make a difference for local families in need.
While Pawpalooza puts a playful spin on the traditional Food Truck Rodeo, the mission behind the event remains the same: supporting the independent businesses, entrepreneurs and local organizations that make Raleigh such a special place to live, work and visit.
“Every Food Truck Rodeo is an opportunity to put the spotlight on the incredible small businesses that make up our community,” said Martin. “We want attendees to try a new food truck, meet a local maker, discover a business they haven’t visited before and leave knowing they helped support Raleigh’s local economy. Pawpalooza gives us one more reason to get everyone downtown and celebrate everything local.”

No rodeo experience required. Just bring your appetite, your shopping spirit and your four-legged friends!
Pawpalooza is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dogs on leashes and enjoy one last rodeo of the year with Shop Local Raleigh.
