As chairman of Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Co., Bassett successfully battled to save hundreds of jobs and an entire Virginia community under the pressures of foreign competition and politics of globalization. But saving 700 jobs wasn’t enough. He has a plan to save countless more American jobs – and he wants to share it.
