Oberlin Room Guest Artist Exhibition at Roundabout Art Collective 2015

Welcome to the Roundabout Art Collective’s call for submissions for exhibitions to be held January through December 2015. The Roundabout Art Collective is a lively, established gallery located at 305 Oberlin Road near Cameron Village in Raleigh. In addition to ongoing exhibits by the collective members, wehost monthly exhibits by guest artists in our Oberlin Room. Exhibits are free to the public and open 5 days a week beginning with First Friday. Submissions of two and three dimensional art work must beoriginal and ready to display, and artists are expected to provide enough artwork for a monthly exhibition in a theme selected by the artist. We reserve the right to combine two artists work for a particular exhibition.

Jesma Reynolds began her career in publishing with National Geographic in the early nineties and has subsequently been involved in the design of books, catalogs, videos, fashion, interiors, and brands. She designed and established the format for Walter magazine and has served as Art Director since its inception in 2012. A community-minded Raleighite, she regularly shares her talents with her church, childrens’ school, and others. Jesma is married with two boys and enjoys Raleigh’s rich and diverse offerings – from the outdoors, to sports, to the arts – and is excited about the dynamic growth that is happening here.

 

Entry due: October 31, 2014. (All entries must be received by Oct. 31 at 5pm.)

Preparing digital entries: Artists may submit five digital entries in JPEG format to yuko@yukotaylor.com . Please attach your Artist Statement and Resume with entry contact information. (Image title and jpeg file name: Lastname_01, 01b, 02 etc. Images are no larger than 2MB, longer dimension of image must be 1000 pixels) entry form.

artwork specifications & eligibility requirements:

Open to all local artists. Amount of work for sale is based on size, amount and display requirements that fit in Oberlin Room. The show is open to two and three dimensional works of art. The possibility of combining a two dimensional with a three dimensional artist for a fuller show will be considered.

Circle members…………$15.00

non Circle members …….$25.00

Sales:
