Downtown Cary Shop Hop
A fun event where customers of local downtown Cary merchants “hop” from shop to shop to participate in activities and enter to win giveaways.
November 14th, 2013, 5:00 -8:00 PM (Cary, NC)— Come one, come all! The Downtown Cary Shop Hop is a holiday shopping event with more than 20 downtown Cary shops, businesses, and restaurants located in Ashworth Village, Chocolate Smiles Village, Heater Office, Taylor Building, and other downtown locations. The Downtown Cary Shop Hop is free to the public and all are welcome.
All participating businesses will be open from 5-8 pm on Thursday, November 14th offering refreshments. Some locations will offer discounts on products or services and serve food, wine, or beer. Visitors can use the C-Tran to hop from one shop to another to participate in different activities, including special prmotions from each store participating, demonstrations like soap cutting at JustNeem and catering by Green Planet Catering and a local food truck.
Punch cards will be distributed with a map of participating businesses. After visiting five merchants, customers can enter to win products or services donated by the downtown shops.
Organizers hope this second annual downtown holiday event will highlight the many small businesses in the Heart of Cary and encourage neighbors to shop local!
