Figures & Faces with a Personal Flair is an invitational group exhibit featuring recognized North Carolina artists for their creative diversity in representing the figure; Dan Beck, Lyudmila Tomova, Jean Grunewald and Catherine Martin. Four artists with uniquely distinct styles celebrating aspects of human nature in oil, acrylic and watercolor from American Impressionism to Contemporary Abstractions.

• Dan Beck of Wilmington is an internationally awarded Gold Medal Winner and Signature member of oil Painters of America American Impressionism for his figurative.
• Catherine Martin of Apex is a regionally renowned acrylic painter/instructor and in this exhibit she explores figurative interpretations into expressive impactful abstractions.
• Jean Grunewald of Wake Forest is a nationally awarded oil and pastel painter with Portrait Society of America amongst other organizations. Jean paints in the style of American Impressionism/Classical realism.
• Lyudmila Tomova of Cary, is a rising star on the Triangle art scene, her watercolor dancers are executed with expressive brushwork, color, line and a stylized flair that emphasize movement and bring the figures to life.
