Raleigh Food & Wine Festival to Delight Taste Buds June 25-28

Innovative food and beverage event to connect local enthusiasts with restaurants, chefs and unique programming

Raleigh, NC – Clear your schedule for June 25-28, 2015 for the inaugural Raleigh Food and Wine Festival and join us for a spectacular taste of Raleigh! The Raleigh Food and Wine Festival is an innovative event that showcases the evolving culinary traditions of Raleigh with multiple events taking place during the four day timeframe.

Thursday-Saturday, events will take place at different participating restaurants, wine shops, patisseries and bakeries – featuring wine dinners and guest chefs. From beer dinners to cooking classes, see the continually-expanding line-up of events at http://www.raleighfoodandwine.com/events/. Reservations for Thursday-Saturday events are taken directly by the participating venue. On Sunday, the four-day program wraps up with food and beverage tasting event at the historical Melrose Knitting Mill and Babylon restaurant in Downtown Raleigh from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets must be purchased online in advance for Sunday’s tasting event via Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/raleigh-food-and-wine-festival-2015-tickets-15406890424).

Already scheduled to participate restaurants, retailers and local brands include: 18 Seaboard, Babylon, Backyard Bistro, Bella Monica, Bolt Bistro Steakhouse, Capital Club 16, Driftwood Southern Kitchen, Fiction Kitchen, Hail Mary Bloody Mary Mix, Happy and Hale, KocinA Food Truck, Latin Quarters, lucettegrace, The Level Up Kitchen + Barcadium, Mandolin, Mango Sashimi Catering & Event Planning, Midtown Grille, Night Kitchen Bakehouse & Cafe, Oak City Meatball Shoppe, ORO, Plates Neighborhood Kitchen, The Raleigh Wine Shop, Second Empire, and The Station, with more to come as the festival draws closer.

$1.00 from every general admission ticket sold and $2.00 from every VIP ticket will be donated to Band Together, which has raised more than $3.5 million to benefit the Triangle community since its 2001 inception.
