Raleigh’s Premier Nonprofits Celebrate with Celebrity Bartender Gala
Culminating a Year of Charitable Fundraising
Local celebrities poured their hearts out at Zinda New Asian’s monthly “Celebrity Bartender Event Series” to raise awareness and funds for ten local nonprofits. On December 8, 2013, guests will celebrate a year of fundraising at the inaugural Celebrity Bartender Black Tie Gala. The evening’s festivities include amazing silent auction items from all partner nonprofits, an artist “live painting” a custom piece to be auctioned off, and live music by Side Car Social Club.
Guests who opt in to premium VIP or table sponsorship tickets get an immediate return on their philanthropic investment thanks to a Diamonds Direct’s sponsorship which gives these elite guests a champagne welcome and gift certificate valued at more than $200. All guests receive complimentary hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening.
“Zinda and the rest of the Eschelon Experiences family places a high priority on giving back to the community through fundraising and volunteer work,” said G Patel, Eschelon Experiences President. “The Celebrity Bartender Gala is a fun way for us to socially interact with some of our community’s nonprofits while raising money for their cause at the same time.”
The nonprofit partners involved in this year’s Celebrity Bartender series are Hope for Haiti Foundation, ALS Association, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Raleigh City Farm, Caring Community Foundation, Easter Seals UCP, The V Foundation for Cancer Research, Pretty in Pink Foundation, Tammy Lynn Center, and Band Together.
The Gala will raise funds for all ten nonprofits: 100% of the net proceeds from ticket sales, the “live painting,” and a frame with all 2013 celebrity bartenders will be split evenly among all nonprofit partners. Each nonprofit will receive 100% of funds raised from the sale of their respective silent auction items. The attire is black tie optional. The VIP hour begins at 6:30 p.m. and the main event commences at 7:30 p.m.
