WALK: The Runway Series at North Hills

Fashion with Compassion to Benefit The Salvation Army of Wake County

(Raleigh, NC – April 22, 2015) North Hills is excited to partner with Models for Charity in WALK: The Runway Series at the Midtown Music Fest at Midtown Park on Saturday, April 25th at 6:30PM to benefit The Salvation Army of Wake County.

In lieu of a fee, Models for Charity will collect canned food and other non-perishables from 3pm to 9pm during the Midtown Music Fest. All the food will be donated to The Salvation Army of Wake County.

“We are excited to help The Salvation Army restock their shelves,” says Bonner Gaylord, General Manager of North Hills. “North Hills is not only committed to serving the community with the best in shopping, dining, and events, but also committed to supporting local charities, and that never goes out of style.

“In the past several weeks, we have been blown away by the response from the community regarding the empty shelves,” says Lizzy Adams, Director of Public Relations for The Salvation Army. “We were thrilled to hear that North Hills & Models for Charity wanted to contribute by encouraging their patrons to collect food, proving, once again, that It Takes An Army to provide for our neighbors in need.”

Midtown Music Fest will feature the very best of North Hills: live music, great food, and of course, fashion! The event is free and open to the public. Chairs and blankets are allowed and beverages will be available for purchase. The event lineup features:
