Pop-Up Raleigh is a monthly market where vintage sellers, artists, crafters and beer-lovers meet! It’s one of the best places in Raleigh to get a Raleigh-themed or NC-themed gift, a locally-made soap or tee or handbag, work by Raleigh artists or craftspeople, and some of the best beer in Raleigh. If you are looking for a great place to take out-of-town guests to shop for souvenirs or want a fun way to spend a weekend afternoon, visit Pop-Up Raleigh!
Pop-Up Raleigh is the result of hard work, creativity and partnerships rooted in the downtown Raleigh, NC community. Original founders, Tracey Johnson and Cynthia Deis, met while working together at a local craft shop in 2003. Their love of patina, handmade art, food trucks and travel bonded and inspired them to create a quaint market of local makers and vintage collections. Prior to the pandemic, over 60 juried artists and vintage curators gathered one Saturday a month at Trophy Brewery, the event’s location partner. As we enter 2021, Pop-Up Raleigh will be adding Sunday afternoons to it’s third weekend markets (March-December). Smaller, outside markets are the best way to stay safe while supporting small businesses and we are committed to providing that space at our markets. As the restrictions allow, we will add more artisans and (hopefully) move back inside Trophy’s brewery-just in time for the holidays! Tracey is the organizer and hands on event liaison for all Pop-Up Raleigh events. Cynthia is a co-founder and available for local consulting and additional event planning projects.
